Last class I introduced you all to this term, Eurocentric, or Eurocentrism. Tell me in 3-5 sentences what does it mean to you, and why does Mr. Heath disagree with teaching history from a Eurocentric point of view. If you need to look up what the word means again, or ask me!

Eurocentric is when europe thought that they were superior compared to other civilizations. They told things from their point of view, ignoring other nations. While they were going through tough times, other civilizations were making many advancements.A reason for not teaching history through Europe's point of view is because there were many other civilizations other than in Europe that made improvements that have effected life.

I learned about absolutism last year, this year it was supposed to be review for me but the way you are teaching and the way miss chhublani taught is so different. you are not teaching me in a way I could understand it. can you try to come up with another way or try going slowly. maybe I can stay afterschool and ask for help. and please don't tell the rest of the classmate that I told you to slow down a bit

religion is a way of life, how people live, and you don't have prove you just BELIEVE. science you have to do experiment and you have to PROVE what you BELIEVE.
